Visiting Loved Ones In Safety

Given the particular pandemic period caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it was necessary to set up a protocol for relatives' visits within the facility.

Everything takes place in maximum security, as patients and relatives do not come into close contact, but still have the opportunity to see each other and communicate.

This is done through a dedicated room in which family members are accommodated, while patients are accompanied by institute staff to an adjoining room in which they are separated from their loved ones by a protective panel.

Visits must necessarily be agreed upon with the secretariat and last approximately one hour. This protocol has made it possible to re-establish, after several months, real contact between patients and their relatives in compliance with the rules and, above all, with everyone’s safety.
