Collaborations

In order to be able to carry out a more qualified research activity, the S. Anna Institute has set up numerous collaborations with other public and private institutions, both Italian and foreign, operating in the area of neuroscience and neurorehabilitation.

Under the research line Innovative Technologies in Rehabilitation, scientific collaborations are under way with the University of Calabria in Cosenza (Department of Computer, Modelling, Electronic and Systems Engineering), the Magna Grecia University in Catanzaro (Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences and Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine), the Catanzaro branch of the National Research Council and Biotecnomed, the regional reference structure of the technological innovation pole of the Calabria Region, partly regulated by agreements that provide for the exchange and secondment of researchers.

As part of the research line in neurophysiology in neurorehabilitation, there are ongoing collaborations with the Magna Grecia University of Catanzaro (Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine), with the University of Pisa (Department of Translational and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery) with the University of Liège, Belgium (Coma Science Group, GIGA Research Centre), with the University of London, Canada (Brain and Mind Institute), with the German Centre for Neurodegenerative Diseases, DZNE, National Network; here too, collaborative activities are governed by agreements that provide for the exchange of researchers.

Within the neurorehabilitation clinic line, collaborations take place with the Magna Grecia University of Catanzaro (Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences), University of Calabria in Cosenza (Department of Computer Engineering, Modelling, Electronics and Systems Engineering), University of Pisa (Department of Translational and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery), University of L’Aquila (Department of Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Life and Environmental Sciences) and with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, DZNE, National Network.

Within the line on neuropsychological rehabilitation, the collaborations are with the Magna Grecia University of Catanzaro (Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences), the University of Padua (Department of Neuroscience) and the CNR in Catanzaro.
